What is hiding behind the trees, baby? 

What is hiding? Behind that piece of wood, what is hiding?

What is behind the shadows, baby?

What is? That bright eye in the dark, what is?

What is hiding behind the trees?

It’s the mountain.

Such an enormous monster he is.

`Coward`, some would say,

But I say `grey`.

Grey is the massive sky

From all the tears that he cried.

The mountain hides behind the trees

And the trees hide the mountain,

So that the mountain would not soak

With the tears of the broke.
